ERROR (SPECTRE-8390): Problem encountered in setting up the mpsc front end.

Hello World!, This is my first post in this forum.

I would appreciate some help with this issue. I'm using ADE L inside Virtuoso environment to perform some simulations, but when I press "Netlist and Run" button the simulation is not performed and shows the message:

Error found by spectre.
ERROR (SPECTRE-8390): Problem encountered in setting up the mpsc front end.

I have googled this kind of error but couldn't find any information about it. I have read the post in http://www.cadence.com/forums/p/27332/1327269.aspx#1327269 as well, but I think the solution described there doesn't help me because I'm not trying to run the simulation from command line.

The full log is attached.

Does anyone know a solution for this kind of error?

Thank you.

    Hi,

Thank you for your suggestions Quek and Andrew but, a few hours after my first post, the network admin solved the problem. I don't know the details but it seems to be a DNS related issue. Now the ADE L works fine.
I tried to answer your messages as fast as possible but, as you can see in the first post, I have experienced some problems with my account and could not log in for some days.

    Best regards, Arthur
