where to get model files for TSMC 0.18u CMOS018/DEEP (6M, HV FET, sblock)

Hello Experts,

I have designed a circuit using the mosfets from this library TSMC 0.18u CMOS018/DEEP (6M, HV FET, sblock), now I want to simulate the circuit using the spectre, but I am in need of the model files for the above used library to integrate in spectre ADE, where do i get these models from.

PLease help me.

From TSMC, from a distributor which is giving you access to the TSMC technology, or indeed whoever is acting as your foundry service. Certainly not a public forum...

If you've designed a circuit with transistors from that foundry, presumably you had some kind of design kit, which probably had simulation models included.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hello thanks for the reply,

I am using the libraries provided by the university, But I dont know how to get the models associated with this particular library.during the class we were using libraries local to the college which were based on 0.60u technology

But now I am in need of this library as my models are based on 0.18u technology. In general whom should i contact now?

The first step would be to ask the University - whoever is responsible for these libraries there. They can tell you how you have access to the technology (presumably there's some kind of programme to provide access to silicon from TSMC), and there must be a way of providing simulation models in that case.

The models will not exist in an open location, because they're proprietary to TSMC. Nobody here would be allowed to send them to you if they have them because they'd be breaking their NDA/licensing agreement with TSMC - so you have to follow whatever process which allowed your university to have access to the foundry technology in the first place...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
