Virtuoso installation in Ubuntu 64bit

i have installed Virtuoso(IC615) in my Ubuntu 14.10 64bit, i have installed using installscape with (local directory option). it showed that installation has been success, but when i try to invoke virtuoso by the command ("virtuoso&"). i am not getting any error message but the same time virtuoso is not invoking rather my terminal window terminates. i dont know where i went wrong? either in my installation or something? please help me out. Thank You
