streamout in batchmode

Hello ,

I am trying to streamout in batch mode with the following command   (-A is my saved template file for IC 6.15.162  as we get the option in GUI to save the template file)

strmout -library 'ttest_lib' -A 'resis_test.gds' -techLib 'cmos32lp' -topCell 'resis_test' -view 'layout' -noInfo '162' -logFile 'strmOut.log' -runDir '/./'

I am getting following error on terminal

*ERROR* License "111" could not be checked out.
*WARNING* (icLic-3) Could not get license Virtuoso_Layout_Suite_L
*WARNING* (icLic-3) Could not get license Virtuoso_Layout_Suite_XL
*WARNING* (icLic-4) Could not get token capability VLS_GXL
*WARNING* (icLic-3) Could not get license Virtuoso_Layout_Suite_XL
*WARNING* (icLic-4) Could not get token capability VLS_GXL
*WARNING* (icLic-4) Could not get token capability VLS_

please help in to remove the error and to streamout in batchmode.

same way if you can help me to out CDL.

Normally I am getting license in GUI mode.

  • Yes license environment is already set on the terminal and I can see the value with echo  command.  I want to streamout the gds and cdl database without  invoking the virtuoso .still it is not working. Am I using the correct way to streamout ?  I have used the streamout command which displayed on the CIW while doing the streamout  in GUI mode with virtuoso opened.

    If you have any alternative way of doing please suggest. My objective is to get the GDS and CDL without invoking virtuoso since sometime we need only gds and cdl to play. I have the saved template file for the GDS similar way si for CDL for particular IC version and license is also   set .
