Is there a minimum requirement as far as MMSIM is concerned for BSIM-CMG models?

MMSIM70 was released in about 2007, so I agree, it's rather old to be using with IC616.

Provided you have a maintenance or subscription contract, or accessing it via a University program, moving to newer releases of any stream is no problem (after all, you have moved to IC616). So you can use MMSIM14.1 (there have been 7 major releases of MMSIM since the version you are using).

It's possible some people are using a Verilog-A implementation of bsimcmg with an older MMSIM version, but there really is no good reason to do that. The performance will be worse for a start.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
