hi

The input to my circuit is neural signal, i want to ask that how to get neural signal input in cadence.

    hello sir,

i need some information regarding the analoglib components and how to use them.

    1)switch

    2)sp1t switch

    3)sp2t switch

i've also a query for the analoglib switch , i want to control this switch using vpulse. i am giving vclose=1.5V and vopen = 0V, open resistance and closed resistance are set to the default values, but the switch is closed for all the time. please tell me how to use it properly. Also tell me how to control the opening and closing of sp2t switch.

    thank you sir in advance.

You might want to look at this post http://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/38/p/33241/1341499#1341499

which explains about the sp1tswitch etc (I suspect you don't want to use those). You might also want to look at "spectre -h relay" or the documentation on analogLib in the IC documentation.

I suspect you must have wired up your circuit incorrectly. Using this schematic (I used an annotation info balloon to show all the parameters for the pulse):

Then doing a simple transient simulation in spectre (from ADE) I get these graphs:

As you can see, the "op" node is getting the sine wave switched to it, and then is pulled to ground when the switch is off.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

thank you very much sir for your reply, it was really helpful.

can you  please tell me about the working of sp2t switch in analoglib, i want to control it using vpulse.
    thank you sir in advance.

Obviously you didn't read my post or the link to the other thread, because I said that I was pretty sure you don't want to use sp2tswitch etc. This cannot be controlled by a voltage source, because it is not a voltage-controlled switch. It is an analysis controlled switch (the switch can have different positions in different analyses). See the other thread that I link to for more details or look at "spectre -h switch" (which is what sp2tswitch uses in spectre).

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.

    thank you sir,

I have a query regarding adiabatic circuits. Can you tell me how to calculate the energy dissipation in an adiabatic circuit?

    thank you sir in advance.

Pointing you at the Forum Guidelines, this appears to have absolutely nothing to do with the previous questions in this thread. One of the goals of the community forums is to provide a resource for people to get answers to their own questions. If a thread is a mixture of unrelated questions, or even time-separated questions, it makes it much harder for others to find relevant answers. It's also another reason why it is important to ask clear and pertinent questions.
