IC616 Hotfix crash

Recently trying to update IC616 to the latest Hotfix IC06.16.100, but it constantly crashes at launch after updated. Everything works fine again once it's been rolled back to the base version.  So I assume there's something wrong with the latest IC Hotfix.  The system is CentOS 6.6.  The IC616 works fine all the time until it's been updated to Hotfix IC06.16.100.

    Hi,

Mentioning this on a forum won't change anything.  If you have a repeatable crash then I recommend that you file a Case with Cadence Customer Support, then they can investigate in more depth.  It might be that there's a problem with Centos specifically (it's possible, since this OS is not officially supported nor tested by Cadence).  Or maybe there's something in your start up sequence that causes the issue?  Did you try "virtuoso -nocdsinit" ?

    Regards,

    Lawrence.

Sounds as if it is repeatable, so at the very least supplying the crash log to customer support is necessary here. Since I've not heard of others having this problem in general with ISR10 (I'm using it with no problems, as are many customers), it does sound as if there's an environment related issue here - doesn't necessarily mean that it's not a bug, but it's not a generally seen problem...

Yes, it's true. While IC-06.16.090 was working on CentOS, IC-06.16.100 crashes at start-up.
