Lets say I want to perform EM simulation using an EM simulator on ind_a/ind_s (by exporting GDS of inductor).Layer mapping is not a problem, but what about substrate file ?

I think you will need to provide more information in order to full understand the question. E.g.

- What kind of PDK are you using? Is GPDK045 just your user name or are you really using Cadence generic 45nm pdk?

- What is the EM simulator which you are using?

- What is the purpose of the substrate file? Is the substrate file a part of the EM simulator setup or are you referring to the substrate file for Quantus substrate exraction?
