making via come as double via by default

how can i make the via come as double via by default? every time i create a via, i always need to edit the gui and change the column/row to make it double via.

any help is appreciated. thanks.

    Thanks Colin, that helps as well. I usually use auto contact so it will fill the via depending on the metal overlap but in some cases like minimum wire width, it will bring up single via that's why I've asked if it's possible to make the via default as double via.
