Problem when invoking the "Display Resource Editor" for Layout Editor

Hello,

I have a problem with the "Display Resource Editor", when I try to open it using CIW -> Tools -> Display resource manager -> Edit, nothing is appearing.

The merge command works correctly and shows the dialog box, but in case of "Edit" it seems that the button is not responding to anything (as if it doesn't exist), nor the CIW is showing any message or error message. I tried to invoke it from the LSW (Edit Display resources...) but still not working.

In the worst case I hope that there is a function to call it directly, because in the Cadence help I found just the techManagerOpenDisplayToolBox() command.

Thank you.

    Hi Ayoub Lafrigui

    The cmd to invoke display resource editor is as follows:

    dreInvokeDre()

    In general, you can find out the corresponding SKILL cmd for an interactive action as follows:
    a. In CIW, go to "Options->Log filter" and enable all options
    b. Execute the target interactive action
    c. The corresponding SKILL cmd will be displayed in CIW

    When posting an issue, it would really be great if you can also include the specific version of Virtuoso which you are using:

    terminal>virtuoso -W

    E.g. you might be using IC616.500.2 but the bug which you are experiencing might have just been fixed on IC616-500-3. If you provide the specific version info, we can check if it is a bug case.
