    Hi srisainadh ikkurthy

When a process (e.g. LVS, parasitic extraction, etc) stops unexpectedly, the first thing to do is to look for "errors" and "warnings" in the log file. This is the cause of your problem:

*ERROR* at "capgen": -cap_ground_layer 'psubstrate' not defined in LVS file quitting.

In QRC form "Extraction" tab, please specify a suitable ground net name which can be found in your layout (e.g. VSS, GND, etc).

For your information, you are using Assura-QRC flow. This means that you are running Assura LVS followed by QRC parasitic extraction. : )

    Best regards
    Quek

    Hi Quek,

Thanks for quick reply, I don't have any errors in LVS process and even specified the Ground terminal properly in extraction tab. please check the attachment of Extraction tab .

*ERROR* at "capgen": -cap_ground_layer 'psubstrate' not defined in LVS file quitting.

*WARNING* at "capgen": process layer 'FOX' maps to one or more extraction  layers that do not appear in the lvsfile.

*WARNING* at "capgen": Substrate layer 'FOX' will be automatically generated  during extraction due to incomplete p2lvs mapping. This may lead to unintended results.

    Hi srisainadh ikkurthy

It seems that there might be something wrong with your current gpdk045 package. The error message is tell you that the Quantus package uses an LVS layer named "psubstrate" but this layer cannot be found in the "lvsfile" which was generated from the LVS deck.

Would you please download the latest gpdk045 package from COS website? I think it should resolve the error. I do have "psubstrate" layer in both my Assura and PVS LVS decks in gpdk045 package.

    Best regards
    Quek
