How to Annotate the results into the schematic which is opened in new Tab

Hi, All

I watch the video "Result Annotation Flow Enhancement in Virtuoso (Video)".

In the video, when annotating the results, a new schematic has been opened in a new tab in the ADE XL.

But I cannot do it within our design environment.

All the results are annotated in the existing schematic. Besides, the information on the lower right corner of the schematic window does not reflect where the results come from.

I assume there is some environment variable control the output location of annotation, does anyone know how to change the setup.

Best Regards

Yi

    Yi,

To open the schematic in a tab, go over the test name in ADE XL and do Right Mouse Button (i.e. the context menu) -> Open Design in Tab.

There's nothing special where you need to tell it where to annotate.

Which IC version are you using? Help->About in the CIW will tell you the exact subversion number - please report it here.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
