Script Skill: copy layers in the layout view

Hi,

When I flatten my PCell, and when I show the properties of some layers ( with Q) I have in the title of the window of properties " Edit Rectangle Pin Properties" and the layer in "Diff" "Drawing": so the layer is in Pin. I don't want those layers in "Rectangle Pin Properties " , I just want it in "Rectangle properties" only and because I need to use my PCell without flattening it : I need a script skill that search in my layout view the layers in Rectangle Pin "properties", make a copy of those layers in the same positions with only Rectangle (without Pin ) Property and in the same layer (Drawing) ( for example I want where there is A rectangle Pin with layer in Diff drw, A rectangle with layer in Diff drw)

By hoping to have been clear, thank you,

Mohammed,

Why did you ask the same question again in a new thread? Was my answer to your other question not clear enough:

I suggested turning off the "Preserve Pins" checkbox when you flatten the pcell. That will stop it being created as a pin.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
