Cadence questions and Calibre

Pyroblast

Hi guys,

I'd like to ask a question, in first place, related to cadence. What the vault and mirror are and how they work?

Regarding Calibre, what does RVE means and what's its usefulness?

Kind regards.

Thank you Andrew. Taking the advantage of this post, can I ask you if you know any tool, hot-key or something like that which allows you to know the total area occupied by the layout of the block? I know that in the top right shows you the total XY size of the layout according to the mouse position and the default reference point in the layout. But what I want is to for example, select all the layout, press a hot-key so that Cadence gives me the total area and/or the XY of that selected block. It is not mandatory to be a hot-key, could be a tool. Regards.
