Hi ,

I am working on a low voltage low power circuit and I have given an input voltage -Vin+Vtn to one of the NMOS transistors to realize desired function. I am getting desired results after simulating it on Cadence spectre.

My query is about the fabrication. Can I send my circuit to fabrication  lab as one of the input is comination of Vin and Vtn (threshold voltage). Will it create any issue or such inputs are acceptable.

    Hi Alisha

I think you can send any design for fabrication as long as it satisfies the following conditions:
    - PDK comes from an actual foundry and not a fictitious foundry such as Cadence generic PDK
    - Passes all DRC rules required by the foundry
    - Passes LVS check
    - Expected results are obtained from simulation using foundry models
    - Suitable chip package has been chosen

Perhaps you might want to discuss more about your concerns with your supervisor, manager, etc.

    Best regards
