Is VSR auto routing placement dependent ?

Hi all,

I am using VSR auto routing for my layout. While some of my cells where placed apart , VSR auto route did not connect all nets as in schematic.

But when I placed those cells in different formation (closer) then VSR auto route routed all nets as expected.

Why do I see this kind of behaviour ? Should not VSR connect all nets as in schematic ? is there any setting I should apply before routing to eliminate this ? I am using 6.1.6

Thanks

Sanket

Hi colin , I tried to debug and yes you are right it was not placement dependency. Instead "Routebility" option in verify-> design was unchecked. When I checked it, it worked as expected. Thanks for help. I appriciate it.
