Hierarchical copy

Hello,

Aim:

I am trying to copy a top cell(say TOP) from a library(Lib A) to another library(Lib B). Cells in library "Lib A" contains reference to cells from another library say "Lib C".  My aim is to make a top cell in Lib C which is self-referenced i.e., i don't want any cell being referred from "Lib C" or "Lib A". Furthermore, there are some common cells between "Lib A" and "Lib C", they are identical in all ways and I don't care which one gets copied as long as the reference is to "Lib B"

Problem: I am using copy wizard from Library manager, I select Hierarchical copy. I enter Top Library name as "Lib A", Top Cell as "TOP", views to copy as "*". In the skip libraries I add list of libraries I do want reference to say "analogLib", my pdk etc. In destination library I put "Lib B". I check the update instance box and select "of new copies only. After selecting "generate copy list", I clock apply and I get a list of "copy problems".  The problem is for the cells which are present in both "Lib A" and "Lib C".

1) Pressing "Overwrite All" doesn't do anything.

2) If i manually select "copy anyway" for all the conflicts and go back to the copy wizard page and click OK, it just again throws the same page again.

3) If I click "Fix Errors" then the conflicting cells are renamed and the references are changed to the renamed version, which I don't want.

4) If i select "don't copy" from say "Lib C" then conflicts are resolved but as expected, when I check in "Lib B", i do the reference to "Lib C" for the conflicted cells, again this is not what I want.

I have tried the normal copy form too, but the results are same. So, what procedure shall I use, so that I don't have to manually fix the "Lib B".

I have checked a similar  previous forum post "http://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/38/t/22200%22 but there the problem was with views and again there was no solution.

Thanks

BR
