simulation directory for simulation results in ADE

I am trying to figure out how to get the ADE simulation directory to come up with a different default. I am referring to the "project directory" under ADE -> Setup -> Simulator/Directory/Host.

I have tried setting this in my .cdsinit where I bring up cadence:

envSetVal("asimenv.startup" "projectDir" 'string "/sim-output/cadence/mgraumlich")

I have separately tried this in my .cdsenv

asimenv.startup projectDir string "/sim-output/cadence/mgraumlich"

neither of these work.  I am using: version IC6.1.6-64b.500.13.2

thanks

Mark

    Hi Mark,

The only explanation I can think of is that something else in your environment is setting this after you have. Before starting ADE, check in the CIW:

    envGetVal("asimenv.startup" "projectDir")

to see what it's set to.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew
