abstract generator: LEF does not contain ANTENNAGATEAREA

I am trying to generate a LEF from Layout with antenna information with Cadence abstract generator.

Pins and metal area on pins work fine but neither gate area nor diffusion area are extracted.

Any hints on where to change something ?

    Hi Jan,

there are many settings and options to consider and it is pretty hard to tell where it goes wrong for you without seeing the data.
Did you check the step by step tutorial in the docu? We have a small example database in the software installation you can run through
which might answer your questions or at least will help to ask more specific questions.

Search for "abstract tutorial" in cdnshelp (Should find it in the AG User Guide) and it will direct you to the database and step you through it.

    Kind regards,

    Marc
