URL's broken to old community forums/blogs ?

(My apologies in advance for double posting, please feel free to delete the other post community.cadence.com/.../36034, since it seems general_topics has no moderator.)

Hi, the new forums/blogs interface seems to have broken all the old URLs, e.g. a google search for "site:cadence.com ADE waveform" turns up several results, e.g. cadence.com/community/forums/T/23401.aspx, which redirects to the main community page community.cadence.com, same for all such links.  Is there a workaround?  Thanks.

This is really a google problem - they appear to have some rather outdated search indices. The URLs for the forums changed a good 2 years ago - the recent change was just a cosmetic style change, and the bigger change was when we did an upgrade to the forum system used underneath (and I think that was around 2 years ago - I can't remember exactly when).

The search you did would be a post that is now at:

It's possible we had some old legacy mapping in place until last week - perhaps that's what's changed. Anyway, I'd expect google's search results to improve over time - if not, perhaps you should contact google? It's their data that's wrong here...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
