VPRBS Source

Is there any documentation on the vprbs source?  I'd like to understand better how to set the register length.  The LFSR mode seems like it would set the length but the length of the seed doesn't always seem to match.

Thanks

You can do the following at the terminal.

    > spectre -h vsource

    search for prbs.

Also if you have access to Cadence support, you can use the following links

    support.cadence.com/.../cos;src=pubs;q=/analoglibref/analoglibref6.1.5/independent.html#vprbs

    support.cadence.com/.../cos;src=pubs;q=/spectreRF/spectreRF14.1/Chap8.html#prbs_source
