Loading Default setting in cds initalization

wgtkan

Every time, I want to launch virtuoso cadence, I source my settings by typing the following command in my terminal: source /apps/settings

Then virtuoso

How do I be able to load my default settings in my .cdsenv or .cdsinit?

I want to start virtuoso without typing source/ apps/settings every time to launch virtuoso

Thanks

    Hi wgtkan

Instead of using .cdsinit file to do the loading, it might be more appropriate to load the shell settings through an alias. E.g. add the following line in your .cshrc file:

alias myVirtuoso "source /apps/settings; virtuoso &"

You can then start Virtuoso using "myVirtuoso".
