How to plot transistor's parameters evolution over time with transient simulation

Hello,

I am sorry if I wrote at the wrong place. (first time)

As a beginner on Cadence (student), I would like to know how to plot transistors parameters (Betaeff, Gm, Cgs, Cdg ...) over a transient simulation.

In fact, I would like to see the parameters values changing over time through a plot. To begin, I have only one transistor.

I've seen other topics, but they last from many years ago (4, 5 or even 8) and I don't understand what people did to plot parameters.

Can someone help me ?

Thanks :)

I finally found the answer by assembling pieces here and there.
1- Create a file name.scs everywere you want
    2- Write Inside : simulator lang=spectre
    save M0:gm
    save M0:cds
    save M1:Ron
    etc....
Where M0, M1 are devices names and gm cds Ron are their proper parameters.
3- import this file in ADE L > setup > Simulation Files > definition files
4- In ADE L > Outputs > Setup : Add new expression correspunding to the parameter of the device taht you want to plot.
    ex: Name: gm
    Expression: pv("M1" "gm" ?result "tranOp")
    then add.
5- Open result Browser, plot tran. :)

And there you got your transistor's parameters evolving through transient simulation.

Not sure which IC version you're using but in an IC616 hotfix (6.1.6.500.10 - ISR10) or later, you now have Outputs->To be saved->Select OP Parameters which means you don't have to create an include file with the save statements. You can even get the op parameters to be plotted automatically from this form too. In IC616 ISR12 we also added the OS and OT buttons in the calculator to access the operating point parameters during a DC sweep or transient so that you don't need to use the results browser.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Thanks for your help.

I am currently using two versions of Cadence : IC 615 which doesn't have the "OP Paremeters to be saved option" and the IC 617 - 64. On this last version I found the OP parameters button. Far away easier to plot parameters.

    Thanks again.
