Hi,

Below is portion of my data in file:

You didn't mention which simulator you're using (or the version of the simulator, which is more important in this case than the Virtuoso version), but I'm guessing it's Spectre - looks like a Spectre error message.

Assuming that the file is not just a text file with the suffix ".xlsx" but a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, then that's not supported. I don't know why you think that you can use a spreadsheet with spectre's PWL source. It's not documented anywhere that you can do this - instead the source expects a text file with two columns of numbers (white space or comma separated). I tried with the content you provided above, and that works. With it in an Excel spreadsheet, I get a similar error to you (a different line number) - hardly surprising that it gives an error since the spreadsheet is a binary file.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Actually I wanted my time data to be accurate upto 10 decimal places, tried it with .csv file, but it did not take any formatted data. That's why I go for spreadsheet. I didn't thought of .txt file.

Now, I used .txt file and it works.

Thank you so much Andrew for your help !
