How the simulation performance mode :APS support the stimulus files?

Dear all,

When I have a stimulus file, I can run well with the simulation performance mode: spectre. After running I can plot all the waveform. But when I use the  simulation performance mode: APS, I can't plot the signal waveform in the stimulus file after running. The net in the stimulus file I write: ([#...] 0).

    Hi nnIt

Would you please check if COS article 20444507 can help to resolve your problem?

You can either save those signals explicitly (e.g. save mySig1 mySig2) or add -rmdg as one of the userCmdLineOption.

    Hi Queck,

In this case, APS shows any message in logFile?

    Thanks,

    Nasser

    Hi Nasser

Yes, the following warning can be found in APS log file:

Warning from spectre during hierarchy flattening.
WARNING (SPECTRE-8530): Dangling node. aaa is removed.

"aaa" is a dangling net that only exists in the stimulus file and not in the schematic. Using -rmdg option preserves dangling signals and the following can be then be found in the log file:

Only one connection to the following 5 nodes:
            aaa
            ...
