DRD setup and usage with Calibre DRC Deck

Hi all,

I am trying to use DRD into virtuoso with a calibre DRC deck but I don't find howto !

I see into an older post that it is possible, somebody can help me ?

    Where did you find a post saying that this was possible? It's not... if something is saying that elsewhere, I'd like to correct it.

    If it not possible, How can I do a basic setup without calibre deck ?

    OK, you were talking specifically about iPVS (which works with DRD, but is a licensed option). However, as far as I know, SVRF support is no longer available - see [INPUT ERROR] non-pvl.rul is not a supported (PVL/PVTCL/iDRC/iLVS/OpenDFM) rule file

    You should ask the foundry for a PVS rule deck which are widely available nowadays, and contact customer support if you cannot get hold of one so that we can look at alternatives. DRD can also use the tech file rules, but sometimes these aren't as compete as a signoff rule deck.

    In fact I setup a new PDK for a founder and I just want to setup into virtuoso DRD enable for basic rules like basic spacing on the same layer and basic spacing on 2 different layer and some others overlap and crossing rules in order to help for doing manual layout.

    What are the required licenses ? but I think that we have !

    In that case the simplest option is to put minSpacing and similar constraints in the foundry constraints group in the tech file.
