vmsUpdateCellViews : How to disable/override user pop-ups?

When using vmsUpdateCellViews for the entire library on systemVerilog views, pop-ups for the HDL parser show up stopping the command from continuing. Is there a way to overcome this?

Thanks,
Rakesh.

    Hi Rakesh,

    Here are some SKILL variables you can setup in your Virtuoso session to avoid such pop-ups, you can copy theme from the following snippet link, which I also pasted below for convenience:

     vmsCrossViewCheck=nil
     schHdlCrossViewCheck=nil
     vmsUpdateSymbolAfterEdit = nil
     schHdlUpdateSymbolAfterEdit = nil
     schHdlEditAfterError = nil

    Hi Riad,

    Thanks for the response. I tried this and still couldn't get rid of the pop-up. The pop-up is related to:

    SystemVerilog *W,   WDPS: Parsing of systemverilog file produced warnings.

    Is there a way to avoid this ?

    The other ways I can think of is to disable verilog parsing

    Or to disable warnings.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh.

    Hi Rakesh,

    Set: vmsRunningInUI = nil before running the vmsUpdateCellViews() function. See How to disable HDL Parser Errors/Warnings dialog box?

    Regards,

    Andrew.
