dspf_include accept spectre syntax?

Looking for a way to use dspf_include to accept spectre syntax (.scs file). Also, where is dspf_include documented?

Why would you use dpsf_include to accept a spectre file? It's specifically for DSPF, not for including spectre syntax files. Generally post-layout extraction tools should be able to produce DSPF.

For documentation, run (from a terminal):

    `cds_root spectre`/bin/cdnshelp &

(this will start the help included in the spectre release stream) and then search for dspf_include.

    Andrew.

I'm looking for a way to include a spectre .scs file and override the subckt definition in the main spectre netlist, just as dspf_include works now but to include a .scs, not a .spf. I think a config view would do this; I'm looking for a way without having to use a config view.

You can do it by creating a spectre text view and including that viewName in the view list when netlisting (if  you don't have a config), or picking the spectreText view as the view to use if you are using a config.

There's no equivalent of dspf_include which takes the header from the net listed schematic, and stitches in the content from another subckt in a specified file.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
