CDL Import to merge bus bits

noramirkh
noramirkh over 5 years ago

Dear experts,

From what I observed CDL import has no option to merge bus bits in a bus in generated schematic or symbol.

Could you please confirm if this is a case? Or there is some hidden option to achieve that?

Thanks,

Norayr

    Hi Norayr,

This is available on the File->Import->SPICE form (an entry labelled "Merge BusBits" on the Input Tab) as standard from IC6.1.8/ICADVM18.1 ISR11. It was also available under a UNIX environment variable since IC6.1.7 since 6.1.7.500.9 (IC6.1.7 ISR9) - for details, see spiceIn: How to merge individual bus bits back into buses in the imported schematic. Reference symbols with bus pins during spiceIn, where CDL has expanded ports

    Andrew.
