Is it possible to re-use generated DSPF when using Smartviews to reduce simulation time?

Hi! I really like the advantages of the new smartviews. However, simulation time increases since each time I run a point Spectre seems to generate a DSPF from scratch, and for large cells this can take very long.

Is it possible to somehow tell Spectre/Assembler to "re-use" or "cache"  the generated DSPFs so as to avoid this re-generation time overhead? (Note: due to post-processing reasons, I use the "dummy.il" pre-run script trick to force independent directories for simulations).

...or any other suggestions as how I could achieve simulation times with smartviews as fast as with raw DSPFs?

Thanks and regards,

Jorge.

P.S. I am using spectre 19.1.0.373.isr7 with ++aps and +postlayout.

    Hi Jorge,

    There's a CCR for this (it's internal). It would help if you reported this via customer support and asked for a duplicate of CCR 1869487 to be filed.

    Andrew.
