I do not believe you can export Maestro view into any type of ADE-XL view. The instructions for converting an ADE-XL view into an Assembler view using a state file, if I recall, were quite clear that this is a one way path and cannot be reversed. This appears consistent with Andrew's response at URL

from about a year ago. Having written this, I suppose you could export the Assembler outputs as a comma-separated variable file and try to import the csv file of outputs  into ADE-XL. This, of course, will not include the global variables.

I'd also ask why you're wanting to do this? There are lots of additional features in ADE Assembler which aren't in ADE XL (one of which actually is the ability to import/export global variables to CSV), so I can't see much point in moving back to ADE XL. If it is because you have existing ADE XL views, you can simply open them with ADE Assembler (from the library manager, you can do Right Mouse->Open With), and then you're in the "new world" products and get all the additional features.
