How to delete multiple cells in LibManager

Is there a way in the LibManager to select multiple cells and delete them ?

Currently I only can delete one cells after the other, which is a pain if you have more than 10 cells to delete.

In my case I did a hierarchical copy between libs (which was a mistake) and need to delete the copies (~50 cells).

Of course. I'm a little surprised you didn't notice this, but after selecting one cell to delete and then either doing Edit->Delete or Right Mouse->Delete over the cell, you get the "Delete Cells" form:

You can then multiply select the cells on the right side (or even do a search with the wildcard box on the right) and then hit the red arrow to move them into the list to be deleted.

The only thing I can imagine is that perhaps you're not using the Cadence Library Manager, but another DM vendor's own library manager? I'm not sure of the state of play of all of the DM solutions as to whether they support this in their own tools (primarily it is IC Manage that have their own library manager, and I can't remember whether it has something similar).

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew,

since we have Cliosoft SOS installed, it looks like this if I right-click delete:

    I cannot select multiple cells.

But I found now, that I have to use the "SOS Lib Manager" which is found in the "DesignManager" menu. There I can select and delete multiple cells.

    Problem solved.
