Plotting A Line Graph Across Design Points in ACTIMES Tran

Hello.

I am doing a transient simulation with actimes....at a number of points in the transient simulation I am doing a small signal real and imaginary impedance measurement.

When I come to plot this, "plot all", I get exactly what I want...BUT I want a line graph...not just points....how do I do this ?

Some screen snips attached of setup and plot.

Thanks.

That's a rather inefficient way of doing what you want, because it has to keep re-running the transient analysis for each different ac time you're trying to use. Because of the fact that you're a sweep this way it's ended up with each point being a single point versus the time, and then you have a family of curves. Whilst I could give you a way of handling that, a better solution would be to specify the actimes on the tran analysis form as follows:

Spectre also supports the start:step:stop syntax for actimes (not sure it's clearly documented anywhere), but this means that you can do this in a single transient, and I think that's exactly what you want!

    Regards,

    Andrew
