Dynamic tolerance with Spectre X?

smikes

Is it possible to dynamically alter the spectre X tolerance in a transient sim?

For APS this can be done by changing the "errpreset" variable between conservative/moderate/liberal.

Spectre X accuracy mode is preset on the command line though with the +preset=vx/lx/mx/ax/cx,

is there a way to change this with a dynamic parameter?

Thanks in advance!

No. See SPECTRE-17271 warning appears when Dynamic Parameter is used to change errpreset in Spectre X

This article explains that you can change reltol, but changing the +preset isn't really feasible as that would alter some of the optimisation done to the circuit which would mean a significant topology change during the transient.
