I want to import TSMC 65nm standard cell library into virtuoso.

The. SPI file was successfully imported into schematic, but I used xxpwr.v importing symbol, some errors occurred

The following is the error message。

INFO (VERILOGIN-589): Using xmvlog binary for compilation.
ERROR (VERILOGIN-28): Failed to run the xmvlog analyzer because the analyzer binary could not be located.
Either the analyzer binary does not exist in the shell search path or you do
not have the required permissions on the file. Set the correct shell search
path and update the file permissions before running the command again.
ERROR (VERILOGIN-5): Unable to open the specified log file (xmvlog.log) for reading. Either the file does not
exist or you do not have read permission on the file.
INFO (VERILOGIN-206): End of Logfile.
ERROR (VERILOGIN-5): Unable to open the specified log file (xmvlog.log) for reading. Either the file does not
exist or you do not have read permission on the file.
INFO (VERILOGIN-206): End of Logfile.

This is just a matter of not having an XCELIUM release in your UNIX path. See this similar post.

    Dear Mr. Andrew,

Thank you very much for your explanation and your solution suggestion.

I only have xcelium1809 and added path. Now it seems that it doesn't work

What does "it doesn't work" mean? Not really much in the way of details - which IC subversion are you using too?

The file name of its software is xcelium1809s010, I don't know what version it is.I added three paths:

    export PATH=$PATH:/home/Cadence/SPECTRE181ISR12/tools/bin
    export PATH=$PATH:/home/Cadence/SPECTRE181ISR12/tools/mmsim/bin

    export path=$PATH:/home/Cadence/XCELIUM1809s010/tools.lnx86/bin

but it still has the same problem. I guess it may be the version problem

What do you get if you type "xmvlog -version" at the UNIX prompt (I also assume you restarted Virtuoso after you changed the path)?

And the IC sub-version you're using? Help->About will tell you this (or typing getVersion(t) in the CIW).

    Regards,

    Andrew

Thank you for your enthusiastic answer. I went back to check the. Bashrc file again. After updating the. Bashrc file, it can work normally. It may be that the path of other software is not set properly, which is not the problem of xcelium.
