probe a structure for all layout layers used in its build?

Is it possible to select a structure - in my case a fluid guard ring - and display every layer used in its  construction?

You could try moving the cursor to the instance and enter bindkey "t" .  Does it serve your purpose ?

Thank you both.  In this case, mctang21s quick solution is perfect.  I will fiddle around with Andrew's solution also.

If you'd just wanted the layers underneath the cursor (which is not what you said), I'd have also suggested using WIndow->Assistants->Dynamic Selection. You can then move your cursor and see all the layers under a point (and you can freeze/unfreeze the display so you can then move the cursor afterwards - there's a hint for the bind key to use at the bottom of the dynamic selection assistant).

I had glossed over that feature, but it looks quite handy. Thanks for the info.
