What are the noise options under simulator options?

IN ADE_XL, using spectre, under simulator options, there is an options to turn on/off different types of noise contributions for different instances

Can someone give some explanation as to how to use these options? does it remove these noise components from the simulation or only from the analysis after the simulation?

Where can I find more information about this?

A document detailing the definitions of the noise types is at the Cadence On-line support site at URL:

    https://support.cadence.com/apex/ArticleAttachmentPortal?id=a1Od0000000nazwEAA&pageName=ArticleContent&oMenu=People%20who%20viewed%20this%20also%20viewed

with a description of the use of the noiseon and noiseoff options at URL:

    https://support.cadence.com/apex/ArticleAttachmentPortal?id=a1Od0000000vK9ZEAU&pageName=ArticleContent

I noticed in your post you indicated "ADE_XL". The documentation URL is pertinent to ADE Assembler/Explorer. Hopefully, it provides enough background fr your use. If you have not considered it, I might suggest you consider migrating from ADEXL to Assembler/Explorer. The transition is quite easy and the latter simulators are both supported and full featured.
