Adexl - savetime is failing to recover transient state

Transient run oscillations are recovering amplitudes properly when previous run spectre.fc is used in recover option. But oscillations will not start when savetime savefile /path/my_final_state_at_10us is used. What am I missing here? I tried skipdc, readic, environment save state, recover options. Nothing is working.

If you use savetime/savefile then all you should need to do is specify the same file with the recover option on transient. You do not need to specify any other options (so no skipdc, readic). It should also start the transient at the same time the savefile was saved at.

If this is not working, that's very odd. I would suggest that you contact customer support in that case.

In case you want to double check any of the steps you are taking, there are some notes on the process in the recent post at URL:

    https://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/custom-ic-design/52184/extending-a-tran-sim/1384709#1384709

There is some discussion regarding the options and a response and further example as a result of one of Andrew's comments. The note include in the post  is at:

Rats! You certainly deserve a couple of gold stars for trying - and your patience too!

It sounds as if submitting a test case is in order. I hope preparing a test case is not too much work. I know how much effort it can take! Good luck...
