Save certain waveform after simulations end while preserving corner order

Hi,

When I save a waveform across corners, the order is changed, how to automate saving of some waveforms after simulations end, moreover preserving corner order.

I simulated TT corner across frequency and temperature, when I save from Viva through export function the corner order is changed randomly.

Please clarify what you're doing, the version (sub-version) you're using, and exactly what is wrong. What format are you exporting to? What order is wrong  - maybe some pictures would help?

It's pretty unclear at the moment.

I saved a waveform from Viva into csv format. In maestro view I can see the corner order like this typ 1G, typ 2G, typ 3G but when I save it with Viva--> waveform --> export the order in csv output file changes to typ 2G, typ 3G and typ 1G

    Dear Zaara,

If you want to automate the process (which will avoid using the Export menu in ViVA), there is a article at URL:

    https://support.cadence.com/apex/ArticleAttachmentPortal?id=a1O3w000009TM7TEAW&pageName=ArticleContent

which details a method to save a set of waveforms from a corner simulation into a single file. Please refer to case 2 in the article. In this fashion, you can specify the column order of the signals you wish to save in the file and the save process is automatic following the simulation.
