Creating layout window when clicked on the custom menu in schematic

Use the geOpen() function with ?lib, ?cell, ?view and ?mode arguments specified. Probably ?viewType "maskLayout" too (depends on whether the layout view exists already or not as to whether that's required or optional).

When I use geOpen() function it will only open when it is exists before I want to create when i don't have layout view created before.

You could use ?mode "w" for that. Or use dbOpenCellVewByType() in mode "a" before calling the geOpen in mode a - for example:

The schematic my cell is getting open open repeatedly. And layout view is not getting created. 

And geOpen() function i have 'a  'r mode to open cellview for edit and read respectively

I can't see any reason why opening a new layout window this way would open a schematic repeatedly (there's a possibility that if it was an existing layout view set to open in VLS XL, it might open the corresponding schematic, but it's not clear that's the case here).

Without seeing your actual code, guessing what you're doing is nigh on impossible.

If that's the only code you have, then it really can't possibly cause the schematic window to be continuously opened (I'm not really sure what you mean by that; I can image there's a case where a single schematic window is open if the layout is set to open in Virtuoso Layout Suite XL, but it shouldn't open more than one schematic). Is the layout opening in VLS XL? After all, the code is only opening a single layout window...

My guess is that you have some other code which is causing a schematic to be opened, but without more details it's not really possible to help.

It would probably make more sense to contact customer support (submit a case after logging in) so that one of the application engineering team can take a look at this together with you.
