Could not find netlist procedure: _spectreCap instance

Hi there,

Thanks in advance for your kindly reply.

While I have a spectre simulaiton, which include the "cap" instance form analoglib in my schematic.

It shows the error message below

However, everything is fine in the instanace such as ind, res...

Have you also met that situation?

    Ray,

    I didn’t do any searches or checks related to this specific error, but I’d say the most likely explanation is that your cds.lib is pointing at an analogLib from a different installation than the IC version you’re using. If that happens, the CDF may be requiring netlist procedures not defined in the version you’re using. 

    Can you check that?

    Thanks for your prompt and kindly reply.

    I delete some panic log file and cdslck file and somehow, it can start simulation without above error.

    Neither of these can have anything to do with a netlist procedure not being found. Presumably something else changed in your environment, but it wasn't deleting of a panic log file (nothing would care about that) nor would clslck files cause this.
