Hello,

I'm trying to do a new installation on a dedicted server in the cloud. The OS is Rocky linux.

Once I download istallscape and run the iscape.sh, the GUI open but it is blank.

I installed Java

sudo dnf install epel-release -y
sudo dnf config-manager --set-enabled crb
sudo dnf install java-1.8.0-openjdk java-1.8.0-openjdk-devel -y
sudo alternatives --config java
sudo alternatives --config javac

this is the snapshot of the black gui

Any idea of what could be the issue?

thanks

Two different users with identical posts (I assume you're really the same person but with two different user ids). Anyway, this looks the same as:

InstallScape presents a blank screen with RDP protocol

Are you using RDP for the remote display? Can you try using VNC, Exceed TurboX or some other remote display tool to connect to the machine?

    Hello Andrew, thank you.

I was able to install VNC and get to Virtuoso up and running with license.

    I see now this error:

*WARNING* (CMGR-7001): Can't find installation roots
*Error* (AMS-2910): Cannot create a netlist using the AMS Unified netlister because the required AMS library is not found in the Virtuoso installation path. Check the Virtuoso installation path by running the 'getShellEnvVar("PATH")' command in CIW and ensure that a valid AMS library exists in the tools/affirma_ams/lib/64bit directory in this path.

Where do i find the AMS library?

    thanks,

    Christian
