Unable to post/reply with attachments in this forum anymore

Hi! Since a long time now I am repeatedly unable to post in this forum, specially when trying to add attachments (like simulation snapshots) to my posts, but also happens with just plain text and/or when trying to reply to other posts.

Specifically, I get an error window in the top-right area saying "An error has occurred. Try again or contact your administrator". Sometimes this is followed by another message saying that my post has been flagged as spam; sometimes there's no such message but after pressing the "Post" button the page just hangs and nothing happens.

Is anyone else experiencing this problems? Thanks in advance for any help!

    Thanks for the heads-up Frank; good to know!
    Hopefully it'll be fixed soon and we'll go back to nomal Smiley

    There was a bigger problem where creating posts at all was breaking most of the time; that's been resolved, but the sporadic issue with attachments (particularly images) which has been there for several months remains. I know we're working with the vendor to resolve this, and I believe the hope is that upgrading to the next version of the forum software will resolve this. I don't know the current timeline though for that.

    I often take advantage of the fact that because of the load balancing I can connect via a web browser on a machine in a different continent, but that doesn't always solve it... (although it usually does for me). I understand that won't help most people though!
