How to set global clock signal routing in soc encounter?

Renee

Hi,

Is there any way to route clock signal globally as did with Vdd! and GND! signals? Can I create a ring or stripe especially for clock signal and connect gates' clock signal to them?

Thanks in advance!

     Hi Renee,

It kind of sounds like you want to do a clock mesh. I don't have any direct experience with clock meshes, but there is a section in the Encounter User Guide about this (appendix B for SOCE 7.1). Take a look and see if that meets your needs.
