xtalk simulation failed

Hi ,

When doing cross talk analysis on a post -routed board,  cross talk summary window always gives the results as

Victim XNet                       Victim Drvr                  HSOddXtalk  HSEvenXtalk  LSOddXtalk  LSEvenXtalk  Group

xxxxx                               yyyyy                                        NA          NA           NA          NA           Group all_tw

 for all nets.

Geometic window 16mils, trace width 4 mils.  spacing between aggressor and victim is 8 mils and they run 50mm in parallel..

The results always show NA .

does anyone know  to set any other parameters for xtalk. tool used Cadence 16.2 PCB SI XL.

Thanx,

Upen

    Hi Chris,

Wave form directory is not created when the simulation fails.

I have a 20 layer symmetric stack –up, signals selected from some layer produce results,  few other layers does not give for the same case settings.

    Cross-section seems to be fine

    Field solver used is EMS2D

    Thanks,
