 Hi friends,

While browsing some  details regarding various trainings on cadence tools , i found some learning objectives like  :

 1) Run foundation scripts

  2) run database access commands

What exactly these mean. and how technically helpfull they are , Could you explain me with an example. So that i can participate for training classes with atleast a basic and minimum  knowledge.

Regards,

K.VISWANADH BABU

I assume you're talking about Encounter?

If so, the documentation has several things that should get you started.

    http://sourcelink.cadence.com/docs/files/Release_Info/Docs/landing/soc81/library.html

    Scroll down to "E".

You'll see several documents regarding the Foundation Flows, and a Database Access Command Reference, but for db access I recommend starting with dbGet in the chapter of the Text Command Reference called  "Basic Database Access TCL Commands".

    Hope that helps,

    - Kari
