Flattened sdf file from hierarchical project

Hi,

I need to export both a hierarchical and a flattened verilog netlist  from Encounter (8.1) with their corresponding sdf files. For the netlist, I use 'saveNetlist filename.v' and 'saveNetlist -flat filename_flat.v' commands but for the sdf, 'write_sdf' doesn't support the -flat parameter.

How do I get the sdf for the flattened netlist?

Thank you for the help!

     Hi Kari,

    Thanks for your response.

I can certainly do that, but I would end up with a different layout, etc. I need the hierarchical and flattened netlists to be identical. Hence the problem...
