insertRepeater with inverters

Hi,

I'm using encounter to do repeater stitching of long non timing critical nets using the command insertRepeater. We ideally would like encounter to use single inverter with given length rule like the one below

source --------------------|>---------------------------|>-----------------------sink

but it tries to use pair of inverters for each stage.

source --------------------|>|>--------------------------|>|>----------------------sink

Is there any way we can ask encounter not to do that?

Thanks,

Nishant

You could try setEcoMode –spreadInverter true, then use ecoAddRepeater instead of insertRepeater.
