nanoroute is not routing the design

I am using Cadence encounter edi10.1.I am able to run trial route successfully but whenever I run nanoroute for complete route, it removes all the trial routes but does not route anything. Basically after running nanoroute, I donot see any wires.

Also when I looked at the log I say Nanoroute warnin (NRGR-22) Design is already detail routed.

I donot understand the issue. I checked all the rest of the log but could not find any thing. The total wire lengths on any metal is always 0.

Make sure you're in the detaled view (not floorplan view), and NETS are turned on in the layer list. Do you have skip_routing attributes on your nets by chance?

    Dear Kari,

Do not worry, got it fixed long back. I raised the issue some two months back. The issue was with the lef file. I changed the version from 5.5 to 5.6 just in the lef text files and all is well. You can ask your engineers to fix this problem themselves instead of we finding it out and fixing these issues.Again thanks a lot for  your time.

If there was a problem with the LEF syntax, you should report it to the library vendor. However, I can't think of any issues that would be caused by having version 5.5 instead of 5.6. Both are supported. Maybe something else was going on? Hard to say without looking at the data. Glad you got it working though!

    Dear Kari,
Thats what I am telling you. With encounter 10, by lef text file with version 5.5 writen on it does not route but if we just replace to version 5.6 it routes perfectly.

     Satendra,

This definitely sounds strange. Could you file a service request to have it looked into? Click "Service Requests" along the top of the page after logging in to support.cadence.com.

     Thanks,

     - Kari

    Dear Kari,

I am from Arizona State University and hence cannot file the service requests. You can forward it to your concerning department.

    Thanks and regards
