CPU & Memory Usage details in ncverilog log file.

Hi,

I'm trying to do profiling on specman e code using nc-verilog simulatior 8.2 and IUS specman 8.2.

The specman profiling is done for a small block and to a core block. The goal  is also  to know the details of CPU and Memory Usage which is seen at the end of the log file.

For block I could see this information as shown below

----------------------------------------------

<<< End of Test >>>

nc_specman is doing end-of-test operations Checking the test ...

Checking is complete - 0 DUT errors, 0 DUT warnings.

Post-processing profiling data ...

..samples_counter 1927

Creating the report ...

Done.  Report saved in sn_prof.16244/report_mem.html End-of-test operations are completed

Memory Usage - 16.5M program + 245.7M data = 262.2M total

CPU Usage - 4.0s system + 362.2s user = 366.2s total (95.5% cpu)

Simulation complete via $finish(2) at time 58837852 PS + 0

( This was not run with Intelligen )

When I tried the same for core block, I couldn't see the details of the CPU and Memory Usage but the profiler report is generated as shown below

------------------------------------------------------

<<< End of Test >>>

nc_specman is doing end-of-test operations Checking the test ...

Checking is complete - 0 DUT errors, 0 DUT warnings.

Post-processing profiling data ...

...samples_counter 2529

Creating the report ...

Done.  Report saved in sn_prof.29016/report_mem.html End-of-test operations are completed Simulation complete via $finish(1) at time 45770913568 FS + 0

(This was run with Intelligen )

----------------------------------------------------------------

What could be reason for those Usage details not being printed in the second log file?

What factors determines to display the Usage details in the log file?

Could you post the command scripts you use for both to compare?

    Thanks!
